Now, most dental surgeries offer some types of cosmetic dentistry, with teeth whitening being one of the most popular treatments offered. Beauty Salons Want A Piece Of The Pie

When teeth whitening began appearing as a treatment in dental clinics, it also began appearing in lots of other places. Beauty salons, spas and other places now offer teeth whitening, usually at a cut price. Sounds great right? Or they use an amount of hydrogen peroxide so low it is legal for them to use, but it will either not have an effect or they will leave it on for much longer than they should potentially causing gum burns.

Gum burns are just one of the many safety issues that come with using an unqualified company to provide teeth whitening.

Even worse are 'over the internet' teeth whitening kits which can contain all kinds of horrible things that should not be used to whiten teeth, along with ineffective trays which do not adequately fit the teeth or protect the gums. With all of this in mind, it isn't hard to see the many potential dangers involved in getting teeth whitening anywhere other than your Egham dentist.
